Are Aaron Kwok and Christine Kuo back together?
Hong Kong Canto-pop star Aaron Kwok recently appeared at an event with former rumoured girlfriend, Hong Kong actress Christine Kuo, sparking speculations that the pair is back together.
An insider source revealed that after the buzz surrounding their rumoured relationship died down, Christine not only lost a “boyfriend” but news value as well. As a result, her popularity suffered a hit and she decided to go for Aaron again, in a bid to save her career. When she appeared with Aaron on stage, the attention she received from the public and media increased tremendously.
The source also added that her plan went well with Aaron, whose image was also affected by the recent rumours that he was going after young models, speculations that he denied publicly.
When queried about it again at the event, Aaron said in a self-righteous tone: “I’m only ‘following’ them on Instagram politely – it’s something that’s very common. I don’t understand how it can generate so much buzz

Taiwanese singer Hebe Tien recently returned to her hometown in Hsinchu, Taiwan, to visit her parents during Chinese New Year.
Undeterred by her celebrity status, Hebe made use of a special promotion at a café to grab a free cup of coffee with her mum. The mother and daughter took turns to pose for photos, while the S.H.E member uploaded a self-portrait on Facebook.
A picture showing off Hebe’s flawless complexion gained over 10,000 likes within a few hours. Besides fans who heaped praise on the singer’s bare face, advertisers were also reportedly impressed by her natural good looks. Some were even said to have contacted Hebe for commercial deals.
Happy to spend time at home, Hebe said that she gets rid of all negative emotions whenever she meets her parents. “Even if it’s only for a short while, being together with my family feels very heartwarming,” she added.

Since giving birth to her first daughter, Brittany, in 2006, Hong Kong actress Esther Kwan has been trying to conceive her second child.
The 49-year-old revealed this during a commercial shoot recently, saying: “Yes, I want more kid(s). I have been receiving TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) treatments, I can still conceive at my age.”
To make sure she is all ready, Esther, the wife of Hong Kong actor Nick Cheung, is taking every possible action to stay at the top of her health.
Apart from drinking her self-made codonopsis (dang shen) tea from time to time during the shoot, the TVB actress has also been avoiding cold drinks for fear that the uterus will be affected.
There is also a temporary stop to her acting career as she focuses to improve both hers and her daughter’s health.
Last Christmas, Esther and Nick had, in their bid for a baby, gone to Hokkaido for a holiday.

The S.H.E member clarified on widespread rumours regarding her sexual orientation
Taiwanese singer Hebe Tien finally responded to speculations about her sexual orientation in a recent interview by declaring that she “likes boys”.
Other than rumours which claimed that she once dated Jay Chou, the S.H.E member was romantically linked to several female partners, including A-Mei’s manager Zhong Ruo Han, for nearly six years.
“It doesn’t matter if you are a girl or a guy. As long as we get along well, there’s no need to think too much,” Hebe reiterated, while emphasising that she will not stop meeting her female friends just because of the rumours.
While speaking to the media, the singleton also mentioned that she might not get married in future as it is “too troublesome”. “I wouldn’t go into a relationship with marriage in mind,” she said.
Hebe, however, would love to experience the mother-and-child kinship as she is very fond of kids. Imagining herself as a doting mum, the 30-year-old said that she would let her husband play the “bad guy” at home. “If I get too old to give birth, I might consider adopting a child,” she added.

Following his recent win at the Singapore Hit Awards 2013, Hong Kong actor Julian Cheung continues his award-winning streak by clinching the Best Actor Award for his performance in drama, Triumph in the Skies II, at the TVB Star Awards Malaysia yesterday.
The 42-year-old, who was greeted with deafening screams as he walked the red carpet, was reportedly overwhelmed by the popularity of his character, “Captain Cool”.
“It seems like everyone loves a playboy character. In future, I’ll ask the producers to cast me if there are such similar roles,” quipped Julian, who is also nominated for Best Actor Award in the 2013 TVB Anniversary Awards on December 16.
When asked about his chances of winning during a backstage interview, the veteran actor cleverly retorted, “Does it matter? I’m happy to have the time off to participate in any award show. When it comes to awards, everything depends on the viewers. So, I’m just hoping for continued support from everyone.”
Meanwhile, Hong Kong actress Linda Chung received the Best Actress Award for her role in Brother’s Keeper.
Breaking down in tears as she made her thank you speech on stage, Linda exclaimed, “I can’t believe it’s real this time. Having been in this industry for a while now, I didn’t expect so many people to like my performance. I’m really thankful to everyone!”
Apart from Julian and Linda, other Hong Kong celebrities such as Kenneth Ma, Ron Ng, Myolie Wu, Ruco Chan, Tavia Yeung and Kristal Tin were also present for the awards ceremony last night.
The nomination list for the 2013 TVB Anniversary Awards has been released and public polling will commence on December 2. Results will be announced at the awards ceremony on December 16.

Rumour has it that Thai transsexual actress Nong Poy had fallen for Louis Koo while shooting film The White Storm and had even dumped her long-time boyfriend for the actor, reportedHong Kong media.
In the movie, which stars also big-name veteran actors such as Nick Cheung and Sean Lau, Poy plays Nick’s wife, who is in love with Louis.
It was understood that when Poy arrived in Hong Kong last month to meet The White Storm director Benny Chan, Louis, who was also present at the dinner, told her jokingly: "You've gained weight!"
His comment - although done in jest - caused her to skip her dinner altogether.
When the news reached Thailand, both of them were rumoured to have developed feelings for each other and Poy had broken up with her boyfriend for five years.
In response, Poy admitted that she and her boyfriend had split, but denied that Louis was the "third party".
She even defended Louis: "He treats me like a younger sister, and I feel that he has never courted me before. Don't bring him into the picture, I don't want to tarnish his reputation!"
Poy had been very open about her ex-boyfriend, whom she started dating in 2008.
The pair had openly showed affection for each other in public and online, and she once described her ex as a potential marriage partner, and planned to get hitched after 30.

From the photos posted after the event, the couple appeared to have enjoyed the cake-cutting ceremony as they posed for pictures with blissful smiles.
